Designed to racing safety standards, the DADC "500" employs a high-strength, vacuum-assisted cable assembly which attaches directly to the engine's throttle or air-valve linkage. Safe and reliable, vacuum assist has been in use for decades for power brakes, and does not affect the safety or performance of your auto whatsoever
The vacuum-assist enables precise and effort-free throttle control with minimum rotation of the control grip (from idle to full throttle in one-quarter turn). Applying the brakes is achieved by pushing the control lever away from the driver. The able-bodied driver operates the conventional controls with no sense of the Hand Control being present. The cruise control remains fully operational with or without the Hand Control being used.
